2026 marks America’s 250th birthday (Semiquincentennial), municipalities across Broward County are planning massive celebrations featuring live concerts, drone light shows, and major fireworks displays. If you want to catch the fireworks and celebrations a day early, Broward County has a couple of fantastic options happening tomorrow, Friday, July 3, 2026

1. Weston Hometown Fireworks Celebration Friday July 3, 2026

  • Location: Weston Regional Park (20200 Saddle Club Rd)

  • Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

  • The Details: Weston always kicks off the holiday a day early, and this year is massive because they are celebrating a double milestone: America’s 250th birthday and the 30th anniversary of Weston’s incorporation.

  • The Experience: Free entry, food trucks, festive photo stations, interactive games, and live music from the Frequency Band (playing R&B classics, Motown, and modern hits).

  • The Finale: A massive fireworks show over the park at 9:00 PM.

2. Lauderhill Fourth of July Drone Show July 3, 2026

  • Location: Lauderhill Sports Park (7500 W. Oakland Park Blvd)

  • Time: 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM

  • The Details: If you are open to a high-tech alternative to traditional fireworks, Lauderhill is hosting a major Drone Light Show on the evening of July 3rd.

  • The Experience: Free admission and free parking. The event features live entertainment, family activities, and local food trucks, culminating in a synchronized patriotic drone display once it gets dark.

    3. Fort Lauderdale (4th of July Spectacular)  July 4, 2026

    • Location: Fort Lauderdale Beach & Las Olas Oceanside Park (A1A and Las Olas Blvd)

    • Time: 12:00 PM – 9:15 PM

    • The Highlights: A massive free beach festival with a kids zone and live music, featuring a headline performance by country superstar Walker Hayes at 7:30 PM.

    • The Show: A patriotic drone show starts at 8:45 PM, immediately followed by the signature offshore fireworks display at 9:00 PM.

    • 4. Pompano Beach (Fireworks Spectacular) July 4, 2026

      • Location: Fisher Family Pier (222 N Pompano Beach Blvd)

      • Time: 5:00 PM – 9:30 PM

      • The Highlights: Beach Bash hosted by Drew from Y100 with live music from R&B and Beach Boys tribute bands. Note: Bridges close to vehicular traffic at 8:45 PM.

      • The Show: Eco-friendly fireworks launch from a floating ocean barge at 9:00 PM.

  • 5. Hollywood Beach July 4, 2026

    • Location: Hollywood Beach Boardwalk / Bandshell

    • Time: 5:00 PM – 9:30 PM

    • The Show: Live DJs and entertainment at the bandshell leading up to an offshore fireworks display at 9:00 PM.
